Several lawsuits have been filed against the Wen Group, a well-known manufacturer of the Wen line hair products. In fact, hundreds of women have suffered hair and scalp damage after using the Wen cleansing shampoo and conditioner.
This shampoo has ruined my life. I wish there was a way to make them pay for what they did. If anyone has information about group claims, please let me know – this is one appeal from a consumer of the Wen shampoo line, created by the hair stylist Chaz Dean, known for his work with a number of celebrities.
Now, over 200 people in 40 states have filed a lawsuit against the Wen line cleansing shampoo and conditioner, claiming that these products cause balding, redness, irritation of the scalp and discoloring.
The brand however claims that their hair line is different from anything else on the market as it cleans and nourishes hair at the same time.
The users of the Wen hair products have continually complained about the effectiveness of the Wen line on Internet forums over the past couple of years. In December they submitted a group complaint.
Some of the consumers claim that hair started falling out in dense clumps two weeks upon using the Wen shampoo, and a legal team claims that this hair line has probably affected a lot more than those suing.
